Rainham's Ronnie Jackson hit a magnificent undefeated 92 as his team won this 30-overs per side game off the very last ball with just one wicket remaining at North Stifford on Friday afternoon. It was the visitors' number eleven batsman Jamie Eacott who hit the last ball for two runs to secure a fine win by the narrowest of margins. Jackson hit sixteen fours in his personal best tally. Amidst Jackson's heroics, six Rainham batsmen recorded ducks, four of which were run out by some very tight Belhus groundfielding and safe handling by wicketkeeper Harry Davison, who also achieved a stumping. Two run outs were achieved by Eathan Morris, while Ali Mirza and Harry Pacey emerge with credit for the remaining two. Joshua Reynolds picked up two wickets for seventeen runs from five overs for Belhus, while team colleagues Jamie Foster, Pacey and Braydon Scarlett also picked up one wicket each. Earlier, the home side's Matthew Wakeling hit a personal best score of 44 until he was trapped leg before wicket off the bowling of Eacott, who went on to take 4-24 from four overs. Reynolds also made double figures for Belhus with a dozen runs. Supporting Eacott with the ball for Rainham were Puncher, Jackson and Bennett with one wicket each.
