Belhus U13s came within four runs of the home team's total in a very close encounter at Belfairs Park on Sunday. An improved bowling display saw Jake Skingle, Joseph Clarke and Mark Fogg claim two wickets each. The fielding was much sharper too, as Thomas Enright took an excellent catch at backward square leg and Matthew Wakeling achieved a sharp stumping off the bowling of Billy Maidment. When Belhus batted, Billy and George Maidment, along with Alfie Debono, all made ten runs each, though Cresley took 3-15 from four overs (one maiden) for the home side. Hart supported well with 2-10 from four overs, which also included one maiden. Eastwood's opening pace bowler Gawley was particularly impressive, he finished with 1-7 from four tidy overs.
