Benfleet looked like being dismissed for a low score but an excellent, and frustrating from Belhus's point of view, last wicket partnership between John Bull and Jamie Critchell took them to a creditable 186. But the Belhus openers, Jim Banner and Stuart Morris, made light work of the run-chase in sharing an opening partnership of 169 and scored 66 and 91 respectively, to secure a comfortable victory in a mere 31 overs to take skipper Paul Whitlock's undefeated team to the top of the league table.
