Match report Belhus completed their 4th win from 6 games in the Peter Coe Competition. With Brentwood unbeaten at the top of the group and only one qualifier for the quaters, all the Belhus youngsters were given a chance with the ball. Ilford batted sensibly but wickets fell regularly, the visitors posting a respectable 144 with the 10th wicket falling in the last of the 30 Overs.
The homeside's batting order was "rearranged" but a fine 50 from Jake Wolfe kept the target in sight. A typical attacking innings of 34 from Mathew Lewis, batting at No.8, included 2 x 6's saw Belhus home by 2 wickets with 8 balls remaining.
