Belhus had to settle for a draw in this rain-affected Shepherd Neame league match on Saturday. Lee Webber top scored with 43, while John Wilson and Michael Randall contributed 32 each. But after tea, they found themselves battling not only the Brentwood batsmen, but also the weather conditions. In a curtailed innings, Brentwood held on for a draw despite the best endeavours of captain Paul Whitlock, who returned figures of 4-31.
