Match report Belhus were stunned by a truly outstanding innings by Hornchurch opener Gary Pritchard who literally hammered 118. His ton came from just 59 balls and he made the chase of Belhus's 238 look like a cakewalk. Pritchard was well supported by fellow opener George Clark who made 75 not out. Brian Edwards did at least have the satisfaction of dismissing Pritchard who was well caught in the deep by Nathan Turner but is was scant consolation after a sobering eight wicket defeat following two successive wins for Belhus.

Earlier Jim Robertson (64) and Nathan Turner (68) continued their good form with the bat as they combined for an excellent 100 plus partnership for the second wicket. George Brooks (31no) and Brian Edwards (20no) kept the momentum up before a heavy downpour forced Belhus to declare. How Belhus wished the rain had kept on coming after Pritchard's violent assault.
