The Belhus team improved still further despite an eight-wicket defeat in a return fixture at the May and Baker annexe ground in Dagenham. Elliot Playle opened the batting with Daniel Wakeling. Elliot Playle hit two boundaries in a score of 11, while Lee Tricker in the middle order also reached the same score. Mathew Lewis scored a creditable ten runs. Goresbrook were a slightly stronger proposition to the team that played at North Stifford the previous week, so it was no disgrace as Irving retired on 25 who made a significant contribution in chasing down the Belhus score after 11.4 overs. Daniel Wakeling and Lewis claimed the Goresbrook wickets between them.
