Match report This re arranged fixture after Sundays abandonment got of to a tense start, belhus batting, progressed to 23 for 2 after 8 overs. However Skipper Pantelli(20) remained at the crease Joined by Ellis Stevens(17).The two of them evetually saw the visitors to 77 for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of 20 overs. A superb spell of bowling from Jack Plom 4-11 was the highlight of the home sides performance in the field.
Belhus took to the field uncertain as to the dificulty of the target.
With thge first ball of the innings Sam Hall clean bowled George Smith, his openning strike partner Jack Martin-Hussy was not to be out down and at the end of the 4th over Orsett were 5 down for 4 runs. Both bowlers with 2 wickets to their name. Jack Shiner showed some resistance with a couple of hearty blows to the boundary But captain Pantelli returned to the fray with a stunning catch and taking 3 of the tailenders wickets, Ellis Stevens also claimimg 2 victims.
Orsett finally loosing their final wicket in the 13th Over for 31 runs, the visitors pregress in the Cup competition with an Impressive 46 run victort
