New Youth Members 2012
Whether you have played cricket before or are new to the game and would like to join us as a youth member, please come along to one of our New Members' Registration Evenings at our clubhouse at North Stifford Village Green on 13th or 20th April at 6.30 pm. Come along with your parents or guardian and meet some of our other young members to find out more about our club and what we have to offer. Boys and girls of all ages and levels of ability are welcome.

Under 12s Indoor Champions
Belhus 'A' won the 2011 South Essex District Cricket Board Under 12s Indoor competition, finishing undefeated in their league campaign. A fantastic achievement by our victorious squad - Eathan Morris, Josh Reynolds, Tyler Kohl, Ben Garwood, Andrew Williams, Joe Dalton, Hassan Mizra, skillfully guided by their manager, Stuart Morris.

40 Years Ago
We first organised 'colts' matches in the 1960s, but formally established our Youth Section in 1975. Since then, our youth activities have increased ten-fold and today we arrange competitive and friendly matches for the Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age groups. A number of our juniors have progressed to represent district and Essex County XIs, and most of the captains of our senior teams are products of our Youth Academy. They have also enjoyed being members of our renowned youth tours to Sussex, as well as various other senior tours to locations throughout the UK and overseas. And many have represented the Essex Boys and Girls Clubs at various prestigious venues in the UK including Eton College and Harrow School.

Coaching
With excellent facilities at our headquarters at North Stifford Village Green, including an all-weather, two-lane practice net facility and bowling machines, we have a team of England and Wales Cricket Board qualified coaches. They are totally committed to providing young members with the best possible coaching and training programmes in order that they may fulfil their potential. And they are dedicated to ensuring that they have a fun and enjoyable experience at Belhus CC, a club with a county-wide reputation for its friendliness (2011 Winners of the Essex Cricket League 'Best Hospitality'Assessment).

Child Welfare and Protection
All of our coaches and other members who are involved in supervising and training youth members have undergone CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks and first aid courses.
We also have two authorised Child Welfare Officers (Ron and Jackie Norris) who are responsible for ensuring the safeguarding, protection and the general well-being of the younger members of our club - one of the very first cricket clubs in England to achieve the prestigious ECB 'Clubmark' and Sport England 'Focus Club' Accreditations.
