Belhus Cricket Club celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2010. Although we run 5 Saturday XIs and 2 Sunday XIs as well as a Midweek XI and a VETS team, we very much welcome new members - junior and senior and of all levels of ability.
Our Saturday teams play in the Shepherd Neame Essex League and our Sunday 1st XI plays in the Essex Sunday League. Not all of our matches are competitive league matches. With a healthy balance of league and non-competitive/social fixtures throughout the season, we cater for the preferences of all of our players as well as provide the opportunity to get to know other members. We also organise an annual tour - something that we have been arranging for more than 40 years.
Our much acclaimed main ground and headquarters is on North Stifford Village Green, and we also play at the long-established ground in South Ockendon village, just behind St Nicholas' Church.

If you are new to the area, or are coming to live in Thurrock and are looking for a progressive, well-organised club with a reputation for comaraderie and a spirit of fun, please get in touch with us - see the JOIN US sub-menu on our site - and come along and meet some of our members. Senior members should contact Steve Huckstepp our 2010 1st XI Saturday captain, or any other member/officer listed under the CONTACT option above.

Junior members who are thinking about taking up the game should have a look at the YOUTH SECTION submenu, and parents/guardians or carers should make contact as suggested.
Alternatively, download a Membership Application Form here 2010 Application Form.doc and when completed, return to Jim Robertson at the address provided. In any event, please have a browse around the various pages on our website to learn a little more about us, and get a sense for what and how we do things here at Belhus CC. We very much look forward to seeing you.
